The Newly Constructed School Building Inaugurated in Kabanigiri 

Bishop Mar Jose Porunnedom blessed and inaugurated the building complex built for St. Mary's UP School, Kabanigiri on 29 May 2023. The school was established 47 years ago and now it is reconstructed with the changes of time and is equipped with many modern systems like Smart Classrooms, Computer Lab, Library and Science Lab. The school complex that resides on the banks of the River Kabani is ready to occupy the students to step into the world of wisdom in the new academic year. 
The 47 years of legacy could be brought many of the alumni of this school and also could spread the light of victory for many generations for four and a half decades, today they hold high positions in various sectors of society. There are many people who have joined hands with the Corporate Educational Agency, Diocese of Mananthavady for the completion of this new school building. 

On the occasion, Fr. Sijo Elamkunnappuzha, the Corporate Manager thanked Fr. Sebastian Elamkunnel, Headmaster Mr. Sabu P. John worked tirelessly to fulfill the dream of a new school. He also extended his gratitude towards the teachers, non-teaching staff, PTA Executive members, and the alumni forum who helped to build a new school.
