Everyone Reads; Everyone Writes: Bishop Mar Jose Porunnedom Launches Malayalam Proficiency Initiative

Bishop Mar Jose Porunnedom launched a groundbreaking learning initiative titled 'Everyone Reads; Everyone Writes' on May 10, 2025, aimed at enhancing Malayalam language proficiency among primary school students under the Corporate Educational Agency, Diocese of Mananthavady. The initiative, part of Sadgamaya '25, focuses on developing four essential competencies: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Malayalam.

The bishop unveiled the project's logo, designed by Mr. Jishin M J, a teacher at St. Joseph's UP School, Kallody, who won a competition among teachers. This intensive training program, designed for students across all schools under the agency, provides specialized handbooks for both teachers and students. The ultimate goal is to ensure every student graduates with proficiency in their mother tongue, fostering a deeper connection with their cultural heritage.

Bishop Mar Jose Porunnedom emphasized the importance of this initiative, hoping it will profoundly impact thousands of students under the agency, transforming their language skills and cultural connection. Corporate Manager Fr.
