Bethlehem Beats Season-2 Carol Singing Competition Concludes with Joyful Celebration

The Bethlehem Beats Season-2 Carol Singing Competition, organized by the Corporate Educational Agency Diocese of Mananthavady concluded with great fanfare, with various schools taking home prizes in different categories. The competition was held on 21 December 2024, Saturday, as part of the Christmas celebrations. A total of 36 teams from 43 schools participated with great enthusiasm. 

The competition was divided into four categories: Lower Primary (LP), Upper Primary (UP), High School (HS), and Higher Secondary School (HSS).

The winners in each category were:

In the LP category, St. Sebastian's L. P. S., Patichira secured the first place, followed by St. Thomas L.P.S., Arinjermala in second place, and A. U. P. S. Dwarka in third place.

In the UP category, St. Sebastian's U.P. S. Kommayad emerged as the winner, with St. Joseph's U. P. S. Kallody and St. Thomas U. P. S. Nadavayal securing the second and third places respectively.

Assumption High School Bathery took home the top prize in the High School category, followed by St. Thomas High School Nadavayal and Nirmala High School Kabanigiri.

In the Higher Secondary category, I. J. M. Higher Secondary School Kottiyoor secured the first place, with St. Thomas Higher Secondary School Nadavayal and Fr. G. K. M. Higher Secondary School Kaniyaram taking the second and third places respectively.

The Catholic Teachers Guild played a pivotal role in organizing the competition, with President Mr. Sajin Jose Chalil, General Secretary Mr. M. U. Thomas, and other executive members leading the efforts. The competition was a testament to the vibrant spirit of Christmas and the joy of music, bringing together students and teachers from various schools in a celebration of faith and festivity.
