        St Catherine's is the first higher secondary school under the management of corporate Educational agency,Diocese of Manathavady. It was started as an elementary school in 1942. In 1955 it was upgraded to an upper primary and 1966 it grew up into a high school. In the year 1998 St Catherine's became a higher Secondary school. It achieved the aim of bringing all streams of knowledge under one roof (Gen.Science, Comp.Science, Humanities and Commerce)Over seventy five years of experience that moulded thousands of students, St Catherine's emerged as one of the premier institutions in wayanad with statewide acclaim. Far from the din and bustle of the city, nestled in the lap of lush greenery, Catherin's provides the right environment for a child to blossom.
